A large winter storm will carry “excessive winter climate” together with important quantities of snow, sleet, freezing rain, and wind throughout the northern United States from California to Maine Tuesday by Friday.
The Higher Midwest will see heavy snowfall and the storm will unfold an icy combine from close to the Iowa/Nebraska border to the northern New England coast.
The storm is anticipated to be “extraordinarily disruptive to journey,” the Nationwide Climate Service mentioned in an announcement. Blizzard situations are anticipated in components of the West and Midwest.
As of 10 p.m. EST on Tuesday, winter storm warnings had been in impact from the Cascades within the Pacific Northwest to the Rockies and as far to the east as Wisconsin. Blizzard warnings are in impact for components of Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
Some components of the nation starting from South Dakota to central Minnesota and the northern components of Wisconsin and Michigan might see as much as 2’ (60 cm) of snow together with the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.
